Project Description:

Carefully remove and dispose of the existing old and damaged asbestos roofing in strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Following safe removal and clearance, install new Saflok 700 concealed-fix roof sheeting, ensuring proper alignment, secure fastening, and a fully watertight finish.

Client Requirements:

Removal of old and damaged asbestos roofing works and replace with new Saflok 700 roof sheeting. Conformance with all Asbestos protocols and safety and precautionary measures to be strictly adhered to. 

Key Construction Elements:

A critical aspect of the roofworks scope on this project was strict adherence to all asbestos handling protocols. This included the mandatory use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), continuous monitoring of air quality, and the implementation of comprehensive safety measures throughout the removal process. In addition, all asbestos-containing materials were securely collected, transported, and disposed of through approved channels in accordance with regulatory requirements. These procedures were executed diligently and within the required timeframes, ensuring full compliance and a safe working environment

Outcome:

The works were successfully completed on 4 October 2024, with all required documentation duly issued, including asbestos clearance certificates and roofing guarantees, providing full compliance assurance and warranty coverage for the client.
