Project Description:

We replaced approximately 1,300m² of galvanized concealed-fix roofing with Thunderstorm Grey IBR 0.53mm AZ200 roof sheeting, ensuring a durable and visually appealing finish. In addition, a CK350 mechanical venting system was installed above the Main Hall to improve ventilation and overall building performance.

Client Requirements:

Replace damaged and leaking roof with new AZ200 Coated IBR Roof sheets as well as all flashings. Replace existing mechanical venting system above Main hall roof.

Key Construction Elements:

The following were key considerations when planning for the execution of this job:

• Steel girder trusses to be taken into consideration for fixing of roofsheeting.

• Access scaffolding to be present throughout the duration of the roof installation.

• Safety of kids and barricading of danger areas whilst work is underway.

• Timely removal of all rubble and old roofsheets from site so as not to cause clutter and unsightlyness.

Outcome:

The project was completed successfully on the 4th of April 2025.
